Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Learn Fret mobile app (“the app”) and the website learnfret.krishtasood.in, both provided by Brylk Creations (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Free to use

Learn Fret is free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or ads, and you don't need an account. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control.

2. Using the app responsibly

You agree not to:

• sell, rent or redistribute the app or pass off copies of it as your own;
• publish modified versions of the app under the Learn Fret name or logo;
• use the app in a way that breaks any law or the Google Play terms.

3. Microphone and accuracy

The tuner, note finder, chord detector and listening games use your phone's microphone. Results depend on your device, your instrument and background noise, so they may not always be exact. The app is a learning and practice aid, and we don't guarantee that any reading, score or chord detection is correct.

4. Your hearing and safety

Keep the volume of your phone and instrument at a comfortable level, especially with headphones, and take breaks during long practice sessions.

5. Privacy

The app doesn't collect personal data, and microphone audio never leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Ownership

The Learn Fret name, logo, app design and the content of this website belong to Brylk Creations. Musical facts such as notes, chords, scales and tunings are free for everyone, and these terms don't claim otherwise.

7. Updates and availability

We may update the app to add features, fix problems or improve it, and we may change or stop offering it at any time. We aren't obliged to provide updates or support, but we'll always try to help if you get in touch.

8. No warranty

The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brylk Creations isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or damage to devices or instruments, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or website. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero or the lowest amount the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

10. Google Play

If you get the app from Google Play, Google's terms of service also apply to your download. Google isn't responsible for the app or its support.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of New Delhi, India, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
